Experience Designer & Educator

Welcome to my nostalgic slice of the internet, I'm Danni White ~

Born and raised in Australia, I moved to Germany from 2011-2014 to pursue Interaction and Motion Design. This journey led me to teaching myself fluent German, earning a Masters in Multimedia Design, and creating a nature documentary: The Secret Life of Nutria.

I'm fascinated by how systems work. Be that a language, a piece of code or a design process. And it's that fascination to understand how and why that drives my design and teaching practice. I've built my career deconstructing complex topics and rebuilding them with storytelling to shape them into something engaging and accessible for others.

But after a decade as a teacher and facilitator, I'm looking for something new.

Recently, I learned TouchDesigner, Python and Arduino to build the Perfume Visualiser project. Then built this portfolio website to house my curiosity with interactive installation design. I'm looking for opportunities to build on this curiosity to create meaningful interactive experiences that bridge the digital and physical space.

So what can I do for you?

I like solving problems with authenticity and style, listening to people's stories to build helpful things, and leading small teams to grow with genuine care. If this aligns with your needs, let's get in touch! danni@projectdannika.com
